About Our School
Laton is a rural farming community with a population of approximately 1824 people. The school district serves a culturally diverse population of approximately 740 students enrolled from Transitional Kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Laton Elementary School’s demographics closely follow the demographics of the district. The enrollment is 353 students from Transitional Kindergarten through fifth grade. There are 177 females and 176 males and our free or reduced lunch rate stands at 84%
Laton Elementary School has 1 Transitional Kindergarten class, 3 Kindergarten Classes, 3 classes for first through fifth grades, 1 Special Education Class, and 2 Response to Intervention classes. All classes have on average of 18 students per class.
